Jeff joined Greenspring as a Senior Financial Advisor after a successful career as a business executive in companies including McKinsey & Company and General Mills. At age 14, Jeff began managing his mother’s retirement investment accounts. Ever since then, he has continued to be passionate about helping to improve the financial lives of others. Jeff is most interested in providing clear, unbiased advice where the sole objective is to serve the client. Jeff has the privilege of providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services for individuals and families. He also works closely with our Institutional Client Group, helping to provide engaging financial education and advice to our 401(k) and 403(b) retirement plan participants.

Jeff is on the firm’s Financial Planning Committee, where he has become an influential thinker on topics such as retirement planning, tax minimization, and social security optimization.  Due to some of his recent work, Jeff has been quoted in several publications, including Financial Times’s FundFire and The Daily Record.

Jeff received an MBA from Harvard Business School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Texas. He also obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification from the CFP Board of Standards.  Jeff is active in philanthropic efforts and is currently on the Advisory Board of Alternative Directions, a local non-profit organization. Jeff, his wife Erica, and their son Jake reside in Towson, Maryland and have recently been enjoying their new bicycles on the many trails in the area.
